The best part? Once it’s set up, it can sell on autopilot!

I created a low-ticket offer through my side hustle: The Nurse Practitioner Charting School. This online business focuses on helping nurse practitioner implement the charting and time management tips they need to STOP charting at home! So a low-ticket offer needed to provide a quick win for this audience.

The low-ticket offer is a Comprehensive List of Smart Phrases available for $37. I created 125 smart/dot phrases that nurse practitioners can easily copy and paste into their EHR and save time charting immediately!

I have been able to sell 2-3 per day of my low-ticket offer. And because I have the systems set up, this can happen when I am asleep or when I am at my full-time nurse practitioner job!

Not only do I generate revenue from my low-ticket offer, but it also gives my followers a taste of my expertise! This creates a know-like-trust factor that makes the customer more likely to buy one of my higher ticket products. It's a win-win-win scenario and a reason why you need to create passive income as a nursepreneur!

The Strategy Behind My Low-Ticket Offer

Here’s how I structured my low-ticket offer to create a passive income as a nursepreneur:

1. I Created a Quick Win for My Audience

I knew my followers needed a small, tangible victory to build trust and confidence in my expertise. Instead of overwhelming them with a big, expensive course, I created a bite-sized, actionable product—one that solved a specific problem quickly.

This quick win makes them feel good about their purchase but also gives you the ability to show off your expertise. This creates a deeper connection and the customer is more likely to buy your higher ticket product.

The low-ticket should be "the first step" your follower needs to take. Where as your higher ticket offer should be "the next step" or more support to achieve their ultimate goal.

2. Make it easy to consume.

Not all low-ticket offers are created equal. The best ones are easy to consume and provide immediate value. Think about formats like mini-courses, PDFs, templates, or guides that your audience can quickly go through and implement.

Don't worry about creating an elaborate product. The low-ticket offer should be easy to consume and easy to implement. For example, a nursepreneur who helps women control their finances can sell a low-ticket template for an easy to implement budget. 

A short but impactful product ensures your buyers see results fast, making them more likely to trust you and invest in your higher-ticket offers later on.

3. I Offered a Free Preview as a Lead Magnet

To attract the right audience, I created a lead magnet—a free resource that gave them a sneak peek of my offer. I took a few of the smart/dot phrases I had created and put it into a smaller PDF called the Jumpstart List of Smart Phrases. 

This allowed nurse practitioners to not only get a quick win but also preview a few of the smart phrases before they purchased the low-ticket offer. This helped build my email list while also warming up potential buyers. If they loved the free preview, purchasing the full product was a no-brainer!

I make sure to have this free lead magnet available EVERYWHERE! It is listed on my website, pops up as an advertisement on my home page, and linked on my social media. I even talk about it during podcast interviews to let people know about the free sample. It's important to have your free lead magnet available for followers to sign up at any time.

4. I Automated My Email Sequences

Once people downloaded my lead magnet, they were automatically added to my email funnel. I have a pre-written sequence of emails that nurtured them, provided value, and share my expertise. This automation also allows the follower the opportunity to purchase the low-ticket offer. 

And because the system runs on autopilot, I wake up to new sales notifications every morning! These emails worked 24/7, bringing in sales even when I wasn’t online.

These automations are set up using my course hub, Teachable, and my email list provider, Convertkit. No matter what technology you use, there are ways to automate the sale sequence.

Let automation do the heavy lifting! This is vital (pun intended) for the nursepreneur who is still working full-time and trying to grow a six figure side hustle.
